7 Things to do in Berlin for young people

What are those things to do when in Berlin for young people and also adults? I live in Berlin for quite a while now. After 13 years of growing up in Berlin, I consider and call myself a Berliner. I won’t tell you about the standard touristic tours that you read on every Travel Blog. Like visiting museums or go sightseeing. I am talking of the perspective of an young adult like I am. Those are the 7 things to do in Berlin that I would like to read on a Travel Blog, if I wouldn’t live in one of the most beautiful cities in the World. Not saying, that I am denying to learn some culture and history of the Country. That is important too!

But for now, let’s introduce you the top 7 things to do in Berlin.

1. Things to do in Berlin: Visit a Späti

Every young adult living  in Berlin has a “Späti des Vertrauens”. Späti It is a late night store where you can purchase beer, snacks and cigarettes. After all those grocery stores have closed a Späti is the place to go. Most of them are open till 2. am or later. You can find some Spätis in mostly every corner in Berlin. In Summer a lot of Spätis offer sitting possibilities outside their store, so people can sit and drink some beers. It’s perfect for getting to know new people. Specially if the World Cup or European championchip is going on tv, they offer public viewing and it is really fun to spend the time with all those strangers that share the same interests. For a beer you pay between 1-3€ and it is way cheaper than going to a Bar. If you go an a regular basis, the shopman will be your best friend.
